Express. explore. embrace your magic.

You’re struggling to find the words to express what’s going on. You’re feeling lost or disconnected and need a safe, supportive environment to find your sense of self. Maybe you’ve tried therapy before and it felt like there was something missing.

Art therapy can help. By tapping into creativity, you can cut through the confusion and get to the root of what is going on for you.

Based in Santa Fe, NM, I help folks of all genders explore facets of their identity using art making and creative expression.

From sensuality and sexuality, to gender identity and expression, to your relationship with yourself, and everything outside and in-between, I’m here to help you get more connected and feel more confident in who you are.

How it works

My approach to therapy is collaborative and ‘you’ centered. I’ll offer creative ways to help explain what’s going on for you and we’ll work together to find the method of healing that feels best.

You don’t have to have experience or training in art to benefit from this approach. All you really need is a pen or pencil, some paper, and a willingness to try something new.

I offer individual sessions and group workshops, but the basic strategy is the same:

Express yourself

Using the supplies on hand, I’ll help you find creative ways to expresses how you’re feeling, through artmaking, writing, movement, or speech - whatever feels like the best fit for you.

Explore connections

Then, we’ll reflect on what you’ve expressed, helping you get perspective on the situation. Usually, just by looking at what you’ve created, the dots will start to connect themselves in your mind.

Embrace your magic

After discovering new connections and learning more about yourself, you can begin to embrace your unique magic, i.e. what makes you you!
